What we do
Enactus Nottingham is a not-for-profit, student-led organisation that exists within the University of Nottingham. We work to transform the lives of people in need through the power of business. We do this by setting up social enterprises that provide employment and their by-product does both social and environmental good.
Enactus Nottingham runs social enterprises both in the UK and internationally, with a team of over 115 students at the forefront of social entrepreneurship; laying the path for change.

We work by identifying problems and carrying out needs assessments to come up with solutions to real world problems.

We have strong partnerships with the communities we work in, as well as in the corporate world to aid our delivery.

We work closely with the University of Nottingham, in order to harness their diverse expertise to help further our social enterprises' success.

Development Goals
In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals for sustainable development. These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us. At Enactus, we’ve found an approach that works. One that creates sustainable, lasting change. Entrepreneurial action and business innovation that creates social impact.

Empower is a social enterprise that focuses on a cycle of care dedicated to addressing menstruation through a sustainable and inclusive approach.
U-Cycle
Encouraging an active, environmentally friendly lifestyle that contributes towards the health and well-being of our academic community through affordable bike rental services.
Colouria
Colouria is an innovation project, aiming to tackle water wastage in textile dyeing by using pigments produced by live bacteria to dye fabric.
Mint Personal Finance
Mint is a multimedia education platform aimed at teaching university and secondary school students about how to manage their finances. Mint is here to support the next generation and inspire more young people to start their financial journey.
SuitUp
SuitUp provides affordable, high-quality workwear for students through community donations and partnerships, promoting sustainability and professional representation.
